First of all, it is important to know that these LED tubes only emit light on one side instead of all around, as is the case with regular fluorescent lighting. Therefore, the amount of energy required for this LED fluorescent fixture is much less than with traditional fluorescent lighting. However, you will see that the amount of light is even more with LED than with your old fluorescent tubes. With these LED T8 fluorescent tubes you have 140lm/watt. The higher the number of lumens, the more light. To summarize: this waterproof LED fixture has a very high light output of no less than 5040lm lumen and a low consumption of 18 watts per tube.

The LED tube has a unique design in which only the highest quality components are used to ensure unique quality. These T8 LED tubes have a patented design which provides an elegant appearance: the housing is made of pure 6063 aluminum and plastic which ensures excellent heat dissipation. The plastic ensures a uniform light distribution. This is due to the unique internal structure and high quality components such as a Japanese Rubycon capacitor, where the internal heat generation is up to 91% less than the standard LED tubes. This combination ensures that these LED tubes are guaranteed to have a long lifespan of 50,000 hours.

Installation

This fixture comes with suspension brackets and fasteners, making it easy and quick to assemble. You don't have to leave the door anymore to get screws or plugs. Upon receipt you can immediately start mounting these waterproof double LED fixtures and start saving money right away. For both LED and conventional fixtures, we always recommend connecting the tube directly to 230V on a single side. This increases the service life and also reduces energy consumption. This LED tube is only suitable for power supply on the Input side, which is indicated on the tube.

A LED starter is supplied as standard with the LED T8 tubes. If you have another fixture that is equipped with a conventional starter and you want to leave the traditional transformer in place, you can use the included LED starter. This LED tube is suitable for use in an existing fixture which is equipped with a magnetic ballast. When this is the case you need to replace the old starter with the supplied LED starter. The LED tube is also suitable for fixtures, which are directly connected to the 230V mains.

The LED tube is not suitable if your existing fixture has an electronic or high frequency ballast. If your existing fixture does have an electronic or high frequency ballast, and you want to connect a LED tube to it, you have to remove it and connect the fixture directly to 230V.
