Reduced build-in depth

When you combine the Barcelona downlight with a GU10 light source, the average recessed depth is approximately 50 mm. You can easily reduce this recessed depth by using an LED module. With an LED module as a light source, the recessed depth is only 30 mm. This is ideal if you don't have much room but would still like to install this beautiful recessed spot somewhere! In short, the handy LED module makes it possible to install the Barcelona recessed spotlight in even more locations with a low recessed depth.

Dim to warm

The unique dim to warm function in these Barcelona ceiling spots gives you a range of 2200-2700K and creates a pleasant atmosphere in the bathroom, kitchen or living room of your home. However, you can also use these ceiling spots in a professional environment, such as restaurants, offices and practices. The LED light source modules have an even warm white light that gives the room a cosy, atmospheric look.

LED Modules

The LED modules that are supplied as standard are equipped with the latest LED chips, which makes them very energy-efficient, with an energy consumption of only 6 Watt. Despite this low consumption, the module delivers a light output of 270 lumens, making it suitable for illuminating objects or lighting rooms. In addition, the LED modules are dimmable, which means that the light intensity can be set exactly as you wish. For this, a suitable LED dimmer is still required. The warm white light colour of 2200-2700K enables you to create a pleasant atmosphere in no time at all in, for example, the living room, bedroom, kitchen or bathroom. 

The lifespan of the LED light source module is 50,000 hours, which means that you will have years of pleasure from the LED light source module. The universal size of the module makes it easy to replace a regular GU10 light source, as it fits virtually every GU10 fixture on the market. The LED module is a light source with low recessed depth, which is ideal as a replacement for a traditional GU10 lamp. In most GU10 fittings for recessed spots there is also a GU10 holder in the fitting, in which you can easily place the LED module without tools. 

When installing new spotlights in a ceiling, there is not always enough space left to place the light source. This LED module has a built-in depth of only 29mm! Therefore this module can be installed in practically any place. Think of lowered ceilings, bedrooms, living rooms or in the kitchen!

Made of maintenance-free aluminium

The fixture of this Barcelona recessed spotlight is made of maintenance-free aluminium. The property of this material is that dirt and dust adhere poorly. This means that the spots have to be cleaned less often and you can enjoy the matt white colour of the light for a long time. 

IP44

The Barcelona recessed spots have an IP value of IP44. This makes the ceiling spotlights not only ideal for dry rooms, such as the bedroom, living room and attic, but also for the more humid areas of the home, such as bathrooms and kitchens. 

Small beam angle

The small beam angle of 38 degrees ensures that you can place several Barcelona recessed lights close together without the light beams crossing. This makes the recessed spotlights very suitable for installation in a cove or above a dining table. The narrow beam is also important for accent lighting, as the light from the recessed spotlight is then more concentrated. More light will fall on the object to be illuminated and less on the wall behind it.
