How high should a pendant light hang?

The ideal height depends on the room and the lamp’s function. Above a dining table, a pendant light typically hangs at least one metre above the surface, giving you enough light without obstructing your view. In living rooms or hallways, lights are usually installed higher to create a spacious feel. Above a kitchen island, a slightly lower height provides practical, functional lighting.

How do I install a pendant light?

Start by determining the correct position and switching off the power. Next, securely attach the ceiling bracket and connect the wiring according to the instructions. After installation, make sure the lamp is firmly in place, then insert a suitable LED bulb. If you’re unsure about the installation, it’s always wise to contact a certified electrician. 
 

Which bulb fitting do I need?

Pendant lights come with different bulb fittings, such as E27 and E14. The fitting determines the type of bulb you need and allows you to choose warm, bright or dimmable light.
