Looking for LED Practise lighting?

Light is of great influence on a person's overall performance and perception. It is therefore not surprising that choosing the right lighting is of great importance in health care. Whether it is dental lighting or hospital lighting, the patient's condition is always paramount. Also, choosing the right practice lighting is not as easy as it seems. In a waiting room you need a completely different kind of lighting than in the treatment room. We will tell you everything you need to know when purchasing new practice lighting.

What to look out for with LED practice lighting

When choosing the right practice lighting, it is important that you know in advance which rooms are concerned. For example, for lighting in the treatment room you need a different type of lighting than the lighting in the waiting room. Where you want to create a friendly and familiar atmosphere in the waiting room, you want a light colour in the treatment room that minimises the risk of mistakes. You determine this colour based on the colour temperature of the light. The lower the number of K, the warmer the atmosphere and light colour. So in a waiting room you will have to look for lighting with a low number of K, while for lighting in the treatment room you will have to look for lighting with a high number of K.
In addition, it is important that you also think carefully about other factors that influence the patient's experience. In the past, for example, LED fixtures were often used in combination with mirror optics. However, in a treatment chair this causes an unpleasant reflection for the patient. LED panels with a high light output are therefore finer.

Suitable practice lighting

At INTOLED we have various types of LED Lighting that fit perfectly in a practice building. Here we briefly describe the most common types of practice lighting with some of our runners.

LED Panels as practice lighting

LED Panels are extremely suitable as practice lighting. They give a luxurious and familiar look, while you also have sufficient choice of light colours. For example, you can choose a different type of LED panel in the waiting room than in the treatment room. What's more, the LED Panels are easy to install in any suspended ceiling. No suspended ceiling available? Then the LED Panels with a surface-mounted frame are also easy to install. The big advantage of LED Panels as lighting is that the INTOLED panels are equipped with a very high number of lumens per watt. This keeps the energy consumption low, but the light output very high. Ideal for environments where it is important that everyone can concentrate well. The most popular LED panels as practice lighting are:
