Installation of the smart LED strip

The smart LED strip is very easy to install. Thanks to the adhesive strip on the underside of the LED strip, you can stick the smart LED strip wherever you want. This can be on the inside of a bookcase or wardrobe, under your kitchen cupboards, behind a mirror or your computer screen. The adhesive strip makes the assembly process a lot easier! Just to be on the safe side, do you want to take extra measures to make sure that your smart LED strip can't just let go, and stays in place? Then you can always choose to use mounting clips.

The smart LED strip is 5 metres long. This means that you can provide a large area with atmospheric lighting. If you need a shorter piece, you have the possibility to shorten the smart LED strip per 50 cm. Keep in mind that you cannot reuse the cut piece. It is also not possible to extend the smart LED strip.

Operation with your smartphone

The smart LED strip is a smart product of the brand Homeylux. All Homeylux products can be operated with the Homeylux App, which you can download from the Apple Store or via Google Play on your smartphone or tablet. With the Homeylux App you can use WiFi to set up your smart LED strip completely according to your wishes and control the strip. You can set the colours, turn the smart strip on or off immediately, and for example use the timer function to turn the smart strip on and off automatically.

Is your home a smart home and do you use a smart assistant like Google Home or Amazon Alexa? Then you can also connect your smart LED strip to this and operate it voice-controlled. In this way, you don't even have to pick up your phone to change the colour of the LED strip, but you can instruct Alexa or Google to do this by voice.

The smart RGBWW LED strip comes with an RF remote control as standard. With this remote control you can easily operate your LED strip smart. Plenty of options! 

Applications of the smart LED strip

The LED strips have an IP value of IP65, which protects them against water. You can easily install the smart LED strip in an outdoor environment. Please note, however, that the mains power supply to the light strip and the receiver has an IP20 value. This means that the power supply and receiver is not water resistant, and you need to put it in a junction box if you want to install the smart light strip outdoors.
