Even when choosing IP67 in-ground luminaires, be aware of puddle formation. Do not place LED in-ground luminaires under your carport where puddles form. Even an IP67 rated in-ground luminaire will not withstand prolonged immersion in water.

LED strips are also great for use under a carport. The great advantage of LED strips for carport lighting is their flexibility. Because you can bend them into any angle or shape, they are very even and easy to install. Choose a good waterproof adhesive when installing the LED strips. This will ensure that the LED strips will last for years.

Wall lights under the carport
