With this mains power supply, you can easily connect your LED strip directly to the 230V mains. The mains power supply has an IP20 protection class and is therefore only suitable for dry indoor areas.
If you still want to use the power supply outdoors, always place it in an IP65 splash-proof junction box. Make sure that the block on the mains cable is not taped or covered (e.g. with tape), as this will block the ventilation holes and prevent the power supply from cooling properly.
If the mains power supply is placed outdoors without a splash-proof welding box, the warranty will be void.
