The Mavion nero bronzo is a recessed spotlight that is actually combined with a surface-mounted spotlight. Unlike a classic downlight, the spotlight remains visible under the ceiling, giving it more of a spotlight character. What makes it look like a recessed spotlight is the mounting: it is largely concealed in the ceiling.
