LED high bay lamps are used to illuminate large and especially high spaces. Due to the enormous amount of lumen (read light) that the high bay lamp emits, they can effortlessly illuminate spaces up to a height of 30 meters. Due to the large beam angle of 90 and 120 degrees, the light from the high bays reach into all corners. The LED high bays from this category can be found in, for example: warehouses, production companies, riding-schools, sheds, sports halls, barns and station halls.

High lumen LED high bays

Depending on the height of the room that you want to illuminate, choose the appropriate number of lumens. We use a simple calculation model to determine the number of lumens. For spaces from 4 to 6 meters high, we recommend the following LED high bays:

• LED High Bay 90 Watt
• LED High bay 100 Watt
• LED High Bay 110 Watt

For rooms from 6 to 8 meters, we recommend LED high bays with a higher light output of at least 19,000 lumen. Some examples of this can be found below:

If you have a room that is higher than 8 meters or you simply want more light output, then it is best to choose one of the LED high bay lamps below:

• LED High bay 200 Watt
• LED High bay 240 Watt

It is of course possible to deviate from this simplified calculation model if you want more or less light in the workplace.

Dimmable LED high bays

Many LED high bays in this category are dimmable. This ensures that you can dim all or part of spaces where there is no working or at that moment the need for full light intensity. You can also use the dimmable function on a sunny day if you need less light. The independent dimming of the LED high bays entails a significant cost saving. When you dim the LED high bays to 50%, you immediately use 50% less electricity.

Beam angle of the LED high bays

In addition to the number of lumens of the LED high bay, the light angle is also important. We offer LED high bays in the versions with a beam angle of 90 degrees and 120 degrees. You choose the 90 degree version when you want to illuminate narrow spaces. Think of aisles between racks. You choose the variant with a beam angle of 120 degrees when you want to illuminate large, open spaces.

Waterproof and dustproof LED high bays

Dust accumulation and moisture are common in warehouses, sheds and large halls. That is why you will only find LED high bays in this category that are highly resistant to dust and moisture. All LED high bays have a protection class of IP65. This means that no moisture can enter the lamp and the high bays can withstand dust very well.
