Looking for a really economical LED T8 fluorescent tube? Then choose this 200 lumens per watt tube. Even with the stricter 2021 energy regulations, this T8 LED tube still has an energy label A. The LED tube can be set in two wattages, namely: 20 Watt and 24 Watt. This economical LED tube shines a light colour of 6000K, which directly replaces the traditional 860 light colour. Due to the high power factor of 0.92, you can connect a lot of tubes to one group. This is especially relevant for larger projects.

Product properties

• Extremely efficient: The LED tube consumes only 20/24 Watt and produces 4000/4800 Lumen. An efficiency of 200 lumens per watt.
• Adjustable consumption/light intensity: On the tube is a switch that allows you to set the wattage between 20/24 Watts. This also determines the intensity of the tube.
• Isolated driver: The driver of this tube is isolated in the end cap, so the heat from the driver can't burn the LED chips in the tube.
• 100,000 hours: The combination of state-of-the-art LED chips and aluminium ensures that the tube has a lifespan of 100,000 hours. This is equivalent to 40 years.
• Made of 6063 aluminium and polycarbonate: The use of aluminium allows the tube to dissipate its heat much better (91% better than a plastic tube). This is one of the reasons that the tube has a lifespan of 100,000 hours.
• With protective powder coating: The tube is finished with a protective powder coating that ensures that the tube will not rust or discolour.
• 100% flicker-free: This means no fatigue, headaches or other complaints. This also makes them suitable for stables.
• 140 degrees beam angle: This narrow beam angle ensures that the light mainly shines at the bottom. This ensures that you do not need a fluorescent fixture with reflectors.
• T8 Fitting: The tube has a T8 fitting, this is exactly the same fitting as the old-fashioned G13 fitting. You can therefore replace your current G13 LED tube 1 on 1 with this T8 tube.
• Safe transport: The tubes are shipped in an extra thick cardboard tube, so they come safe and sound to you.
• Diffuse light: The plastic part of the tube ensures that the tube shines a diffuse light. As a result, you won't see any points of light when you turn on the LED tube....

Made of 6063 aluminium and polycarbonate

This 200 lumens per watt LED tube consists of 6063 aluminium and polycarbonate. The entire top is made of this aluminium. This allows the LED tube to get rid of its heat much better, making the internal components last much longer and deliver top performance throughout the life of the tube. The bottom is made of diffuse polycarbonate so the LEDs in the tube are not visible and it shines a uniform light. The 6063 component of the LED tube is protected by a powder coating. This is impact-resistant and scratch-free.

Adjustable consumption and brightness

By means of a switch on the LED fluorescent tube, you can adjust the wattage and thus the consumption and brightness. In principle, this LED fluorescent tube is dimmable. This LED tube can be set to the following values:

• 20 Watt: In this setting the LED tube shines with a brightness of 4000 Lumen.
• 24 Watt: With this setting the tube shines with an intensity of 4800 Lumen.

This ensures that the tubes are suitable for many spaces.

Flicker-free unique patented design

By applying the latest LED chip technology and our own patented flicker-free technology, these tubes are completely flicker-free. This is especially important when the tubes are used in areas where people work, such as: offices or workshops. Research has shown that although we do not see flickering of light, it can cause headaches and fatigue. This also makes LED tubes suitable for stables. Chickens and other livestock do see flickering light.

Long life and top performance

This LED fluorescent tube will last you 100,000 hours. When you have the tube on 250 days a year, for 10 hours a day, this means 40 years. Thanks to the high quality components, this LED tube will deliver top performance during these 40 years. The light colour only decreases by 10 percent at the end of its lifetime (L90B50 LB factor). On this LED tube you receive no less than 10 years warranty.

Very suitable for projects

Due to the high power factor of 0.92, this LED tube is very suitable for large projects. Because of this power factor, much less current flows back to the group to which it is connected. Imagine you can connect 3,680 Watt to a group. With a 10 Watt LED tube and a power factor of 0.5 (whereby 50% of the power flows back to the group) you can connect 245 tubes to this group. When you choose a LED tube with a power factor of 0.92 (8 percent of the power flows back) and a consumption of 10 Watts, you can connect 340 tubes to this group. This makes the tube very suitable for larger installations and projects.

Easy installation and 1 to 1 replacement

Because of the included dummy starter you can directly connect this LED fluorescent tube to a traditional T8 fixture. When connecting the TL LED tube to a Hoftronic fixture, you do not need a dummy starter anymore. You have several installation possibilities. Isolated driver

The T8 fitting is fixed to an end cap. In this end cap, the driver of the tube is installed. The end cap is isolated from the illuminated part of the tube. This ensures that the heat production of the driver cannot affect the LED chips in the tube. In other words, the isolated manufacture of the driver ensures that the LED chips cannot be burned by the heat from the driver.
