The Flex180 series from HOFTRONIC are 180 LEDs per meter LED Strips . There are two LED strips per row on the strip. As a result, the 180 LEDs per meter actually contains 2x90 LEDs per meter. The strip therefore shines a higher and brighter light. This makes this LED strip extremely suitable as direct lighting. In other words, because the strip shines a very bright light, you cannot see the illuminated LEDs when they are on. This makes it seem as if the LED strip is illuminated over the entire length and on every millimeter. An even and clear light.
The effect of 180 LEDs per meter
The Flex180 series LED strip are economical and shine a bright light. The LED chips are very close to each other, so that the strip shines an even light in the dark. With LED strip with less than 180 LEDs per meter, you often see the light points very well. Logically, this gives a less diffuse effect. Of course, with our LED strips with 180 LEDs per meter, the chips are even less visible. These then flow into each other even more smoothly.
The distance between the LED chips with a 180 LEDs per meter strip is only 11 mm. This is because the LED chips are stacked. The advantage of this is that the strip with a row of LED chips shines extra bright. As a result, the 180 LEDs per meter emit an even fuller light than the 120 LEDs per meter. While on that last strip the LED chips are closer together.

Technical specifications
The 180 LEDs per meter shine with a light intensity of 900 lumen per meter. They use only 12 Watts to produce this light output. This makes them a lot more economical than the neon strips. The LED strips are resistant to rain, freezing cold and heat; The LED Strip has an IP65 protection class. Very suitable for outdoor use and therefore much more stable than an IP20 LED strip. So you can safely leave these 180 LEDs per meter outside all year round.

180 LEDs per meter for the bathroom
Due to their high water resistance, these Flex180 light hoses are also very suitable for installation in the bathroom. Due to their high protection class, they can even be placed close to the shower or above the bath. We often see that the LED strips with 180 LEDs per meter are used as indirect lighting. This includes under the edge of the bath and under the sink. We also see that these strips are often used behind a mirror.
Because the LEDs are very close to each other, you can also use the LED strip as direct lighting. Think of the border of your garden, the gutter or of course the edge of your bath or shower.
UV resistant
The Flex180 LED strips are surrounded by a flexible, very transparent and thick plastic housing. This housing is completely UV resistant. As a result, the hose does not yellow when it is exposed to the sun. The result is the same light color year after year. This cover also ensures that the flex180 LED strip does not dry out.
Dimmable LED strip 180 LEDs per meter
This Flex180 LED strip is also dimmable, but only in light intensity (lumen). You can easily dim the LED strip by connecting the Flex180 dimmer to it. This is available separately here.
Long lifespan
Thanks to their state-of-the-art LED chips, the Flex180 LED strips have a long lifespan of no less than 50,000 burning hours. With average use, this amounts to 20 years. Average usage is 250 days a year and 10 hours a day. However, there is a good chance that you will not have the LED strip on nearly as often.
Extendable up to 100 meters
These 180 LEDs per meter Flex180 LED strips can be extended to a length of 100 meters by means of connectors. That means that you create an LED strip with no less than 18,000 LEDs and a total lumen of 90,000. With this you can easily illuminate the largest gardens and outdoor spaces.
