The Pittsburg recessed LED downlight can be tilted, allowing the light beam to be directed to specific spots. An advantage of this LED downlight is that the GU10 downlight in the fixture can be replaced. Buying a completely new recessed spot is therefore not necessary, you can easily remove the GU10 spotlight from the fixture and replace it with another GU10 downlight. Connecting the LED downlight is very easy because of the supplied terminal connections (wago terminals) with which you can connect the spot to the 230 Volt mains. 

Installation of the set Pittsburg recessed downlights

The Pittsburg smart recessed downlight is a smart product from Hoftronic Smart. This means that the device can be operated with the Hoftronic Smart App. The app can easily be downloaded for free from the Google Play store if you have an Android smartphone, or from the Apple Store if you have an IOS smartphone. The Pittsburg smart downlight is linked to the app via your WIFI network. Make sure you are within 2 meters of your router to be able to pair the smart device.

Once the smart built-in downlights are connected to your WIFI network, you can place them where you want. Please note that your smart lighting must always be connected to your WIFI network in order to function optimally. So take into account the WIFI strength at the places where you want to place the smart lighting.

This LED recessed spotlight is delivered ready to install, this means that a spot consists of the tiltable fixture including the clamp springs, a smart 5.5 Watt RGBWW GU10 LED downlight, a GU10 fitting and 2 pieces of terminal connections (wago terminals).

Installation tip: When installing, allow for a minimum circulation space of 1 to 3 centimetres behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
