The Durham double smart LED recessed spot is tiltable so the light beam can be directed to specific spots, also the GU10 LED spot is slightly recessed in the fixture so you do not look directly into the light source. This double implementation ensures that you can easily illuminate multiple spots. An advantage of this LED spot is that the GU10 spot in the fixture can be replaced. Buying a whole new LED downlight is not necessary. You can easily remove the GU10 spot from the fixture and swap it for another GU10 spot. Connecting the LED spotlight is very easy on the 230 Volt mains.

Installation of the Durham recessed smart spots

The Durham smart recessed spotlight is a smart product from Hoftronic Smart. This means that the device can be controlled with the Hoftronic Smart App. The app is easy to download for free via the Google Play store when you have an Android smartphone, or via the Apple Store when you have an IOS smartphone. The Durham smart recessed spot is linked to the app via your WIFI network. Make sure you are within 2 meters of your router to pair the smart device.

Once the smart recessed lights are linked to your WIFI network, you can place them in the desired location. Please note that your smart lights must always be connected to your WIFI network in order to function optimally. So take into account the WIFI strength in the places where you want to place the smart lights.

This double LED downlight is delivered ready to install, this means that a spotlight consists of the tiltable fixture including the springs, two 5.5 watt smart RGBWW10 LED spots and two GU10 fittings.

Mounting tip: Keep in mind when mounting the light that there must be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimeters behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
