The SMART RGBWW recessed spotlight Mallorca black by Hoftronic Smart is a beautiful and modern product to illuminate your home, office, store or in the hospitality industry and with the tiltable fixture it is possible to tilt the light to the desired surface. They are smart recessed lights, which means they can be controlled through your smart products such as your phone or tablet via the free Hoftronic Smart app. The recessed spotlights produce 16 million different colors of light, along with a warm white and cool white light color. This makes it possible to create a stylish atmosphere in any room.

If you are ready for a new look in your home, you can easily change it by installing the SMART RGBWW recessed spots 5.5W. Because of the energy consumption of 5.5 watts, the spots are energy efficient, durable and cost effective. You determine the desired color temperature, which can vary from 2700K to 6500K.

Installation

The Mallorca recessed spotlight is easy to install by anyone with a little knowledge. Take into account the Ø75mm cutting size and 60mm recessed depth, these are one of the most important factors when it comes to the installation of recessed lights. So you can choose the right hole saw and check whether the recessed spotlight with light source fits in the ceiling.

Then we can start installing, make sure you have the holes in the ceiling ready and that there is 230V installation wire coming through the holes. You will need these to connect your recessed lights to for power. Connect the GU10 socket to the mains using the supplied Wago Welding Clamps, with these you can connect the lamps to the power wires.

If you have done this you can mount the GU10 light source in the Mallorca fixture, this is done in a jiffy. Grab the complete Mallorca fixture with light source now and mount the GU10 fitting now on the light source. This way you have almost completely mounted the Mallorca luminaire.

As a last step, push up the fixture's clamping springs and push the fixture through the hole in the ceiling, once we have clamping springs in the ceiling you can safely release the Mallorca fixture with light source. Turn on the power and now enjoy your ceiling spotlights.

Where to install

Because the Mallorca luminaire has an IP20 value, you can only use it in dry areas. This means that this tiltable recessed spotlight fixture is suitable for living room, bedroom, dining room, hallway, kitchen, office, stores, showrooms, etc.

Mounting tip: Keep in mind when mounting the light that there must be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimeters behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
