This Medina dimmable downlight set 8x3W is a high quality product with a warm light color of 2700K. This light color creates a warm atmosphere, this makes these recessed spots very suitable for veranda lighting. However, the recessed spotlight can be built almost anywhere! Think of the living room, bedroom, kitchen but also the bathroom by the IP44 protection.

This recessed spot works on 12 Volts so it can not be connected directly to 230V mains, a transformer is needed. The COB LED spot set comes with 8 COB LED Spots, dimmable transformer, junction box, remote control and 5 meters of cable per spot. This set is also available with 4, 6, 10, and 12 spots.

Plug & Play system

This mini recessed spotlight set is delivered complete so the set can be installed immediately. The supplied sweater box has 12 connections to which the recessed spots can easily be plugged, this makes it always possible to easily expand the existing set. The sweater box is already mounted on the transformer, so just connect the transformer to the 230V mains and plug in the spots. The spotlights can be plugged in with the 2-pole plugs and easily installed in the desired location, thanks to the clips that are present on the spotlights.

Including wall dimmer

Want to control the spotlights in your kitchen, dining room and living room separately with one wall dimmer? This is possible with the included wireless 2.4GHz LED dimmer. The surface-mounted dimmer can be mounted easily and without screws using the double-sided tape on the back. 

The dimmer has a narrow and very modern design, a detection distance of 20 metres, a size of 86 x 86 x 8 mm and has a touch panel without buttons for ultimate convenience. With the included button cell batteries, the dimmer is completely wireless and you can mount it wherever you want!

Continuously dimmable

The Hoftronic Medina dimmable recessed spotlights are steplessly dimmable, which means that you can dim from 100% to 0% in a smooth transition, and vice versa. The color temperature is 2700K, which stands for warm white light. A remote control is included. Are you sitting comfortably in your armchair on the porch, or are you lying in the bath and think: the lights are a little too bright? With the remote control you can dim the lights directly, so you do not have to get up. Ideal.

Energy efficient and environmentally friendly

Thanks to the energy-efficient COB LEDs, these recessed spotlights produce a powerful light output of 200 lumens per spot, yet they consume only a fraction of the power that regular lighting does. With a consumption of 3 watts, these recessed lights are able to replace a regular light source of 25 watts. In addition, the recessed lights are free of lead and mercury, contributing to an even more environmentally friendly product! 

Indoor and outdoor

The recessed spots have a standard IP44 protection which makes it possible to install them outdoors. The sweater box and transformer on which the spots are plugged, however, have an IP20 protection degree. This means that if you are going to install the spots outside, the sweater box should be placed in a junction box.

12 Volt system

The complete system operates on 12 volts, which provides an extra degree of safety. Especially when the recessed lights are mounted outdoors, it is always nice to have a low-voltage supply for the system.
