Smart veranda recessed spots 2700K Warm white 

The spotlights shine in a 2700K warm white light colour. This light colour provides warmth and atmosphere in every room. The light colour is often used in rooms where you want to relax or create more ambiance. Think of the porch, roofing, living room, bedroom or bathroom.  

Recessed spots especially made for outdoors 

The high IP65 protection rating and maintenance-free aluminium make the spotlights highly suitable for use in damp rooms. Defects caused by moisture or dust are excluded, as are rust and discolouration. This makes the smart Milano spotlights the perfect recessed spot for the porch, canopy or garden shed roof.  

Seamless connect 

Seamless connect is the always succeeding connection of the smart driver to the 2.4 GhZ WiFi network. This is because the driver uses both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used by the driver to connect to the network. 

This works as follows: When the driver turns on, it looks for Bluetooth signals in the area. Logically it finds your smartphone. Then the smart driver connects to your smartphone and retrieves the network data from your smartphone. This data is sent to the driver, which then connects to the WiFi network. This way the connection is always guaranteed. 

Connecting the spots to the smart app 

Connecting the Milano spotlights is very easy. Just follow the steps below: 

• Download the free Hoftronic Smart app via the Google play store or App store on IOS. 
• Switch on the Bluetooth on your smartphone 
• Switch on the smart driver of the Milano spotlights 
• Open the Hoftronic Smart app and click on add product 
• Then tap autodetect in the top right corner 
• Follow the steps in the app

The Milano recessed spots come with an extensive manual for linking the spots to the app.  

Easy plug & play installation 

This Milano Cree LED set can be used both indoors and outdoors, for example for your porch, patio roof or carport (not suitable as ground spots). The spots are easy to install because of the clamps that are attached to the spot. The transformer is prepared on the 230V side with a 15 cm long cable with Wago welding clamps for easy installation. This way, you only have to connect the 230V supply cable to WAGO clamps on the driver cable. The spotlights have a 5-metre cable with AMP connectors (look like small internet cable connections). You simply plug these into the smart driver without any tools.  

Smart remote control  

The smart remote control is a smart product from Hoftronic Smart. Control all your Hoftronic Smart compatible products via this remote control: on, off, dim, adjust colour temperature and switch on different lighting scenes at the touch of a button.  

Milano spotlights with the Tuya smart driver are compatible with the remote control. This remote control can be found in the related products at the bottom of the page. 

Important note for installation! 

The smart driver has an IP20 protection degree. This means that it cannot be placed in a damp room just like that. Therefore you should always place it in a dry place or in an IP65 waterproof junction box. Places where a junction box is recommended are: 

• Porch
• Carport

• Garden house 
• Garage 
• Attic with bad or none insulation
• Cellar
