This white LED recessed spotlight is suitable for use in damp rooms such as the bathroom or under a canopy and has a high-quality aluminium finish. Due to its finish, this downlight is IP65 waterproof and therefore suitable for installation in the bathroom or other damp areas. The Napels bathroom recessed downlight replaces your current 50 Watt halogen lamp, the warm light colour is also copied 1:1 from the traditional halogen lamp. The Salerno recessed spotlight also has a uniform warm white light which gives the room a nice warm atmosphere. The wide beam of this downlight ensures a smooth transition of the light so that when several downlights are used, the beams of light overlap each other and no dark spots appear.

Mounting

The Salerno LED recessed spotlight is easy to install due to its ultra-thin installation depth of 56 mm and the supplied transformer which, with its dimensions of 12 x 4.4 x 2.3 cm, fits easily through the saw hole of the downlight. The transformer is designed in such a way that it can be connected without the use of such tools as a screwdriver or possible crowns, so very simple. The transformer of the recessed downlight fits through the hole so you can easily conceal the transformer, make sure that the transformer is placed next to the spotlight on the ceiling so that the downlight can dissipate its heat better.

Choose the right dimmer

The Salerno downlight is dimmable, in order to dim the recessed spotlight one needs a correct LED dimmer. It is important to install a good LED dimmer that is compatible with the downlights, we have extensively tested with the latest LED dimmers and have put together a collection of dimmers for you with which the lighting can be perfectly dimmed with a unique result. Are you looking for a wired dimmer? Then we recommend the LED dimmer 0-150 Watt, which allows you to connect up to 18 spots to one dimmer. Or are you looking for a ready-made wireless system?
