How to install your 1-phase track lighting?

Installing 1-phase track lighting is very straightforward and requires no specialist knowledge. You mount the track to the ceiling using the supplied rails and mounting materials. To install a working track lighting system, you’ll need:

• Power supply

• Track rails

• End caps

• Track spotlights

• Cover strips

• Screws and plugs

• Optional: T-connectors or 90° corner connectors to link multiple tracks together

How many track lights do I need per track?

The number of track spotlights you’ll need depends on factors such as the lumen output of the lights, the size of the room, and the desired brightness level. As a general guideline:

• For ambient lighting: 1 spotlight per 100 cm of track

• For functional lighting: 1 spotlight per 75 cm of track

Additionally, it’s recommended to leave at least 30 cm of space between each spotlight. Track lighting offers endless flexibility. Not only can you quickly add extra spotlights, but you can also arrange them in any shape you like: a cross, square, rectangle, or even three parallel tracks.
