Setting the LED dimmer with MIN, MAX & BOOST

This built-in dimmer is equipped with three handy adjustment screws that allow you to adjust the lighting in detail to suit your situation. These settings are located on the front of the dimmer and can be easily adjusted with a small screwdriver:

• MIN: This sets the minimum light level. This is useful if you notice that your lights start to flicker or become unstable at the lowest setting. By setting the MIN slightly higher, you can prevent this problem and ensure that the light always remains constant.
• MAX: This determines the maximum brightness of the light. This is ideal if, for example, you never need full light, or if you want to prevent the lighting from becoming too bright in smaller rooms.
• BOOST: This function helps prevent the so-called ‘popcorn effect’. This is the phenomenon where the lights first flash brightly when switched on and only then dim to the desired level. By adjusting the BOOST correctly, you switch the lighting directly to the correct setting – without unwanted flashes of light.

Thanks to these three settings, you can fully tailor the LED dimmer to the type of lighting you use, from LED filament to recessed downlights. Setting it up takes just a few minutes, but ensures that your lighting always does exactly what you want.

Switchable Dimming Mode: Trailing Edge & Leading Edge

Using the built-in slide switch, you can select between trailing edge (RC) and leading edge (RL) dimming modes. This makes the dimmer compatible with a wide range of dimmable LED lamps, including sensitive types. It allows for precise matching to the type of electrical load (resistive, capacitive, or inductive).

Easy Installation – 2-Wire Connection

The LED dimmer works with standard 2-wire systems and does not require a neutral wire, making it ideal for upgrades in existing homes. Always refer to the included installation manual for proper and safe setup.

Important: Always turn off power at the fuse box before installation.
