Replaceable light source

The Miro Smart comes standard with a high-quality 5.5W RGBWW GU10 LED spot. The light source in the recessed spotlight is replaceable. The great advantage of this is that if the light source is faulty, you only have to replace the GU10 spotlight and not the entire recessed spotlight. You can also adjust the light colour and brightness of the recessed spot yourself.

Tilting

The Miro recessed spotlight is tiltable, making it easy to use the LED spotlight to create light accents in your home. Think of illuminating a painting, a plant or a statue. In addition, the ceiling spots can also be used as main lighting and mood lighting.

Made of maintenance-free aluminium

The fixture of the Miro LED downlight is made of maintenance-free aluminium. The property of this material is that dirt and dust adhere poorly to it. This means that you have to clean the spots less often and you can enjoy the matte black colour of the light for a long time. The spotlights owe their colour to a scratch-resistant powder coating. The coating ensures that the recessed spotlights do not fade and turn yellow. This means that you can enjoy the ceiling spots for years to come.

Because Miro's clever recessed spotlights contain a 5.5W RGBWW GU10 LED spot, you can choose from more than 16.5 million different colours. You can do this by using an intuitive colour wheel on your phone. In addition to the wide range of colours available, these spotlights also allow you to set different shades of white. Whether you want to create an atmosphere with warm white light or concentrate on daylight white, everything is possible. Changing the mood has never been so easy.

Small beam angle

The small radiation angle of 38 degrees means you can place several Miro recessed lights close together without the light beams crossing. This makes the recessed spotlights ideal for mounting in a cove or above a dining table. The narrow beam is also important for accent lighting, as the light from the recessed spotlight is then more concentrated. More light will fall on the object to be illuminated instead of being lost in the room.  

Many smart functions

Link the smart recessed lights to the Hoftronic Smart app and benefit from dozens of smart functions, automations and more. This is how you make these recessed lights really smart. These include:

• Planning: By creating schedules, you can have the LED ceiling spots turn on automatically at set times. This way you can make sure the lights are on when you get home. Or use your spotlights as wake-up lights
• Geofencing: Make the recessed spots react based on your location. Leaving the house? Then your lights switch off automatically. Coming home? Then you are welcomed by your favourite light scene. This function also makes the smart built-in spotlights ideal for protecting your home against burglars (only available on IOS operating systems)
• Biorhythm-based adjustment: The colour temperature and brightness are automatically adjusted at different times of the day according to your biological rhythm. During the day, they help inhibit melatonin release, making you more energetic. At night, it helps increase melatonin release, which relaxes you and helps you fall asleep
• Weather adjustment: Change the light colour based on the weather. Is it cold and bleak outside? Then this recessed LED spotlight provides some extra warmth in your home with a warm light colour
• Intuitive colour wheel: The colours of the recessed spots can be easily and quickly adjusted via the intuitive colour wheel. This allows you to choose from more than 16.5 million colours and, of course, all shades of white (2700K - 6500K) within seconds

Seamless connect, guaranteed connection

Seamless connect is the always successful linking of the smart recessed spot to the 2.4 GhZ WiFi network. This is because the Miro uses both WiFi and Bluetooth. Bluetooth is used by the lamp to make a connection with the network. This works as follows: when the lamp is switched on, it looks for Bluetooth signals in the area. In this way the lamp finds your smartphone. The Miro then connects to your smartphone and retrieves the network data from your smartphone. This data is then sent to the lamp and the lamp connects to the WiFi network. In this way, the connection is always guaranteed.

You do not need a bridge to connect the recessed spotlight to the WiFi network.

Installation tip: When installing the light, take into account that there must be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimetres behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
