This dimmable LED recessed spotlight has a high-quality aluminium finish. Due to the IP44 value of the spotlight, this beautiful design spotlight can be used in dry rooms, humid areas and outdoor because of its water resistance. The recessed LED spotlights are therefore very suitable for use in humid rooms such as in the bathroom, above a shower or bath, but also for outdoor use. Think for example of terrace lighting in the canopy or for the carport. This economical and dimmable recessed spotlight replaces your current 50 Watt halogen lamp. The warm light colour is also adopted 1 on 1 from the traditional halogen lamp. The Malta recessed spotlight also has a uniform warm white light which gives the room a beautiful, warm atmosphere. The wide light beam of this spot ensures a flowing transition of the light, so that when multiple spotlights are used, the light beams overlap each other and there are no dark spots.

Design

If you are looking for a design spotlight, the Malta recessed spotlight is suitable due to its sleek finish with high-quality materials. This white recessed spotlight has a saw size of minimal 60 mm and maximum 67 mm and an outside diameter of 82 mm. The recessed depth is only 70-85 mm so you can install this spotlight in very low depths.  

Mounting

The Malta LED recessed spotlight is easy to install thanks to the Plug & Play transformer supplied. The transformer is designed so that it can be connected without the use of such tools as a screwdriver or any terminal blocks. So it's very simple! The transformer is also suitable for connecting several recessed spotlights in series. This is handy when you want to go from spot to spot through loops and connect them directly to the mains in one go.

Choose the right dimmer

The white Malta spotlight is dimmable, but in order to dim the recessed spotlight you need the right LED dimmer. It is important to install a good LED dimmer that is compatible with the spotlights. At INTOLED we have extensively tested the latest LED dimmers, and have put together a collection of dimmers for you with which the lighting can be dimmed perfectly with a unique result.
