This lampholder is suitable for GU10 lamps. This is practical because it is one of the most common types of fitting. You can identify the lamp by the two round pins at the bottom.

This IP rating does not protect against moisture. This makes this socket suitable for all dry rooms. Think living room, bedroom, hallway and loft.
