The Miro LED recessed downlight can be tilted so that the light beam can be directed to specific spots. An advantage of this LED spot is that the GU10 light source can be replaced. Buying a completely new recessed spot is therefore not necessary, you can easily take the GU10 spot out of the fixture and replace it with another GU10 spot. Connecting the LED spot is very easy because of the included terminal connections (wago terminals) with which you can connect the spot to the 230 Volt mains. 

Installing the Miro smart LED recessed downlight set

The Miro smart recessed downlight is a smart product from Hoftronic Smart. This means that the device can be operated with the Hoftronic Smart App. The app can easily be downloaded for free from the Google Play store if you have an Android smartphone, or from the Apple Store if you have an IOS smartphone. The Miro smart downlight is linked to the app via your WIFI network. Make sure you are within 2 meters of your router to be able to pair the smart device.

Once the smart built-in downlights are connected to your WIFI network, you can place them where you want. Please note that your smart lighting must always be connected to your WIFI network in order to function optimally. So take into account the WIFI strength at the places where you want to place the smart lighting.

This LED recessed spotlight is delivered ready to install, this means that a spot consists of the tiltable fixture including the clamp springs, a smart 5.5 Watt RGBWW GU10 LED downlight, a GU10 fitting and 2 pieces of terminal connections (wago terminals).

Mounting tip: Keep in mind when mounting the light that there must be a minimum circulation space of 10 to 15 centimeters behind the light source. This allows any heat to escape to prevent overheating.
