Light color Choice
As you can see, we offer T8 LED tubes in 4000K and 6400K. The application is similar, however, there are small differences to mention. The 4000K variants emit neutral white light, which ensures a neutral evenly distributed light. This makes it a pleasant light to work underneath. The 6400K light color is often used when precision is required. These light sources shine daylight white light and thus illuminate the room as if a lot of daylight comes in.
Replacing a traditional fluorescent tube
Replacing a traditional fluorescent tube with a LED tube is simple and requires no technical background. However, there are a number of things that you have to take into account when replacing fluorescent tubes with LED tubes. So please make sure there is absolutely no power on the fluorescent fixture when you replace it with an LED variant. Other things that you have to take into account for a successful installation are:
Make sure you remove the power factor capacitor, the starter and the fluorescent tube. Replace the fluorescent tube with the LED variant and the fluorescent starter with the dummy starter.
Make sure you work under an operating temperature of -20 to 45 degrees.
Ensure proper grounding during installation.
