This PIR motion sensor with integrated twilight switch is specially designed for ceiling recessed mounting. Thanks to its compact size and round design, it looks very similar to a recessed downlight, allowing it to blend in with ceilings with multiple spotlights. The sensor has a wide detection angle and a long detection distance, ensuring effective motion detection. The sensor is powerful enough to be used in rooms with high or low levels of daylight. Thanks to its IP20 rating, it is suitable for indoor use.

• Adjustable delay time: The switch-off time of the lighting can be adjusted from 5 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on your preference and application.
• Adjustable twilight switch: The light sensitivity can be adjusted between 5 and 300 lux, so that the sensor only activates at the desired ambient light level.
• IP20 dustproof: Thanks to its IP20 rating, the sensor is protected against dust and suitable for use in dry, dusty indoor areas.
• Multiple mounting options: Thanks to its wide detection angle, the sensor can be used for both ceiling and wall mounting.
• Detection angle of 360° (ceiling) / 150° (wall): When mounted on the ceiling, the sensor detects movements in a full circle (360°); when mounted on the wall, the detection angle is 150°.
• Slim flush-mounted model: Thanks to the flush-mounted model, the sensor is concealed in the ceiling. This means that only the flat front of the sensor is visible.
• Suitable for all types of lamps: Compatible with all types of lamps up to a maximum power of 600 watts.

Reacts to ambient light – Adjustable twilight switch

This motion sensor is equipped with an adjustable twilight switch. This means that the sensor not only reacts to movement, but also takes the amount of ambient light into account. You can set the light level at which the sensor is activated yourself, with a setting range from 5 to 300 lux.

• 3 lux: Only in almost complete darkness (e.g. at night).
• 30 lux: At dusk or in dark weather conditions.
• 300 lux: In daylight in a shaded area, such as under a canopy.
• Full light: The sensor always responds to movement, regardless of the ambient light level.

Example: If you set the sensor to 30 lux, the lighting will only switch on when movement is detected and it actually starts to get dark.

You can easily set the desired light sensitivity using the “LUX” dial on the sensor. Use the “TIME” dial to set the desired switch-on time (delay time).

Motion detection - Adjustable motion sensor

In addition to light sensitivity, the delay time of this PIR motion sensor is also adjustable. This allows you to determine how long the lighting remains on after motion is detected. The delay time can be set from 10 seconds to 30 minutes, depending on the application and space.

The sensor only switches on the lighting when the ambient light falls below the set lux value. This means that the lighting remains off during the day when there is sufficient daylight. This prevents unnecessary energy consumption and extends the life of your lamps.

The sensor detects movements at speeds between 0.3 and 1 meter per second. This makes it suitable for registering normal walking movements in corridors, entrances or workspaces, for example.

Detection angle and detection distance

With a detection angle of 360° and a range of up to 8 meters, this motion sensor detects every movement in the room. Thanks to this wide range, the sensor is suitable for many different indoor spaces. You can use it in:

Installation of the built-in motion sensor

Thanks to the spring clips on the PIR motion sensor, installing the sensor is very easy. The built-in depth of the sensor is 44 mm, which makes it easy to install on the ceiling or wall. The sensor must be connected to the mains power supply. The necessary mounting materials are included with the sensor:
